'Around The Globe' Reefton Gold Mine Tours

Kit up in hard hart, hi-vis vest and safety glasses and come with us up to New Zealand's newest hardrock gold mine. Currently being mined by Oceana Gold it's at the Globe just south of Reefton in the middle of Victoria Conservation Park.
This fantastic tour give you a taste of the past and the present - take in the memorabilia at Reefton and Blacks Point as well as visiting todays gold mining operation surrounded by breathtaking views of the snow capped Paparoa and Victoria Ranges.
Wet and cold weather is no problem as the mine operates in most conditions and travel is in our new and warm, 4WD coach, specifically designed for these mine conditions.
Generally scheduled tours operate 1.30pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays, but there are some variations so please check the tour schedule. We can often provide a tour at times outside this schedule and group bookings are welcomed.
